Shielding of heat-sensitive components to reduce wear & tear and reduce heat ingress into driver’s area. Effective for applications with A/C Cabins.
Problem statement: Due to excessive heat ingress from the engine compartment into the driver cabin, the A/C was ineffective. The bonnet was getting very hot and potentially life-threatening.
Component shielded: Exhaust manifold, exhaust first pipe and bonnet under body.
Test Conditions: On field
Pre Q-Shield™ exhaust manifold & pipe temp: 600°C (1112°F)
Pre Q-Shield™ bonnet temp: 110°C (230°F)

- Thickness: 16mm (0.63 inch)
Post Q-Shield™ exhaust manifold & pipe temp: 100°C (212°F)
Post Q-Shield™ bonnet temp: Close to ambient
